ÖH Candidates for the Election on May 13th-15th

Hello there, my name is Fiby, and I’m in my 4th semester of physics right now.

When I’m not occupied with my studies, I love to spend my time painting — something I’m very passionate about. I also enjoy sports, whether playing team sports like Ultimate or simply going for a run by myself.

You can often find me in the Studicenter or the RV office, but most of the time when I’m there, I end up talking to all the cool people hanging around instead of actually studying ;).

Why should you vote for me on 13.05.–15.05.? I’m glad you asked! I believe that as part of Roter Vektor, I can make a real difference. I’m excited to represent you in front of the deanery and SPL, listen to your problems and find solutions, organize events to bring our community together and other things to make university life easier. I believe in RV as a directly democratic (‘basisdemokratisch’) student union, and that we can use this system to work together and make this faculty a better place for everyone.

Hello there :] I’m Mia, a fourth-semester physics student, and I’m running to be your student representative. You can vote for me between 13th and 15th of May!

Since the beginning of my third Semester I’ve been part of the Roter Vektor (RV). Ever since then I have helped plan several events, have held an Erstitut and been doing a JD at the RV-office. You are very likely to meet me there even outside of office hours (come say hi!). Plus, I write short, funny stories about student life for the Distribution called “Gschichteln ausm Studicenter”.

I also help run our Garden Club, where we’re trying to bring a little life to all the concrete and patchy grass. Whenever I find a (short lived) moment between RV work and studying, I love to sing (not just in the shower, but in real lessons too), read, as well as taking naps on lawn, even if it leaves marks on my face 🙂

Ayo!! I’m Aki and am in my 4th semester of physics. If you’re looking for me ask yourself three questions: Colorful hair? Small? Unhinged and artistic? That’s me 😀

Outside of studies I mainly do art, art and even more art! Aside from that I’m easily excitable by all sorts of topics (and cool maths)! Between the 13th and 15th you can vote for me and my friends!

My personal goal is to contribute to making this faculty an open and accepting place for all regardless of where one comes from. That means lending an ear to students, organizing parties and erstituts! I especially want to help neurodivergent individuals access resources because I get how frustrating studying the “neurotypical” way can be. Because that’s in line with one our main priciples: Make sure that everyone leads a good life, cuz all of us deserve the same chance at studying the way best suited for us!

Hey everyone! I’m Helene (you may know me as Haily), and I’m excited to be running as a candidate for our student representation this year. I’m currently in my 4th semester of the physics program and in my 3rd semester of the statistics bachelor (don’t ask why) – both at the University of Vienna.

A fun fact about me: I love organizing and planning out every single detail of my entire day … only to end up binge-watching yet another TV show or movie instead. Also, outside of lectures, you’re honestly more likely to see me than inside — probably buzzing around the faculty, sometimes on a mission, sometimes just procrastinating in style.

My motivation to run for the student council comes from a wish to make our studies more connected and fun. I’ve had the chance to support fellow students as part of an “Erstitut” and helped organize events. Through this, I’ve seen how much value there is in approaching our studies as a shared effort, supporting each other and building a community. As part of the Roter Vektor, I want to continue standing up for our student body and ensure that our voices are heard. The ÖH elections will take place from May 13th to 15th — I’d be super happy if you vote and support me!

And to wrap up, here’s a saying that keeps me inspired: “Everything is possible, for one who believes.” 😉

Hey, I’m Lucas and you can vote for me between May 13.-15. As part of the “roter Vektor”, I’d like to be in the group that represents you as a student.

I’m currently in the 6th semester, which means I know most of the struggles and little things every single one of you is dealing with. My aim is to improve these and give you a voice. As part of the library team, I’d like to be a link between this institution and the students.

When not studying, I enjoy spending my time doing side quests like buying too many plants, going to the movies too often, organizing a flea market, or distracting fellow students in the Lesesaal.

My philosophy is that if you want to change things or at least keep the good ones, one needs to step up and fight for them yourself, or in my case as a part of a group, which is always easier. That’s why I’m running for election, because I think the current political situation in Austria and the world demands stepping up In every part of society and creating safe spaces, which build a foundation to deal with ordinary life and go from there on out in the world.
