EXCELLENCE\u00a0 POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL IN THEORETICAL PHYSICS<\/strong><\/p>\n MSc and PhD programes<\/p>\n Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid<\/p>\n Campus of Excellence UAM+CSIC<\/p>\n CALL FOR APPLICATIONS 2015-16<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The Theoretical Physics Group at the Department of Theoretical Physics and the Institute for Theoretical Physics UAM\/CSIC runs one of Europe’s leading postgraduate programs in Theoretical Physics.<\/p>\n –\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The 60 ECTS MSc degree aims at providing a solid foundation for prospective PhD students in Theoretical Physics, as well as valuable skills for other careers.<\/p>\n –\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The PhD program covers all the frontier research areas pursued by the group:<\/p>\n Gravity, Field and String Theory, Particle Phenomenology of the Standard Model and its extensions, Lattice Gauge Theory, Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics, Experimental High Energy Physics, Hadron and Nuclear Physics, Condensed Matter and Statistical Physics, Foundations of Quantum Mechanics and History of Physics, and other related topics.
