Paulina
Hiiii!
I’m Paulina and I’m in my eighth semester of physics.
At university I can usually be found in the Studicenter, either calculating on the blackboard or involved in political discussions.
When I’m not busy with university or RV work, I’m busy with maths, politics, history, Minecraft or making music.
I joined the Roter Vektor about half a year ago, after I was very actively involved in political discussions in Discord via Corona, and was invited to drop by a plenum.
I think it’s important not only to concentrate on one’s own studies at university, but also to try to support others in their studies – at all levels, from working through exercise sheets together to representation in official ÖH committees. This was also my motivation to stand for the StV election, but this was made impossible by the obligation to use the deadname. Nevertheless, I am present in the election campaign to point out this problem. A vote for Svenja is therefore a vote for me, and a vote for better conditions for trans* people at physics and also at the university in general.
And because everyone else has a quote, I picked one out too:

Svenja
I’m Svenja, and because we had to realize in the run-up to the election that it’s still not a matter of course at our university not to appear with the deadname in the lists, despite explicit wishes, I’m standing as a candidate for the Red Vector on the ballot paper for the StV Physics instead of Paulina. I’ve been studying physics for almost four years now, and even astronomy for two semesters longer, and have been part of the “Roter Vektor Physik” for almost as long, which nominates candidates for your StV election every two years. Furthermore, I like to spend my free time doing sports (jugger and tennis), playing computer games and RPGs, but I also like to watch series or read a good book in the evening.
In the StV context, I mainly take care of committee work, so I have already been a member of several appeal committees, and regularly spend time representing your interests in committees in front of the deanery and SPL team, as well as your teachers. I have chaired several Erstituts, and when I’m not too busy I help with regular mate appointments.
