This semesters series of Physics Department Colloquia will start on March 20. The goal of these events is to bring together the entire Faculty, including students, to foster our spirit of community and promote a stimulating exchange of ideas from the cutting edge of science.
The colloquia will take place once a month during the semester in the Lise-Meitner lecture hall (Strudlhofgasse 4), on Mondays, between 13:30 and 15:00. A light lunch buffet will be offered at 13:00
The first speaker on March 20 will be Klaus Wendt (Johannes Gutenberg Universität Mainz, Germany) with the title “On the most complex atomic systems — fundamental studies and ultratrace analytics in lanthanides and actinides”:
